Service was friendly & prompt with a terrific atmosphere. It was hard to pick what to order since they have multiple items that I can't wait to try! Ended up settling on bananas foster crepes during the brunch service with a side of cheesy hash browns. All I have to say is that there was not a morsel left on my plate because of how deliciously perfect everything tasted. Artisan made fresh food with perfect portions for a reasonable price. I will definitely be back again for brunch & dinner service.
The Hen and the Hog was a super adorable place. It's not a very large restaurant, so we had to wait about 20 minutes (not a big deal to us). The food came out hot, and it was delicious. We went for dinner and cannot wait to go back and try their breakfast menu. Our service was also great.
All I can say is “delicious”!!! This was our first time going to this restaurant and boy am I disappointed in that! I really wish we would have tried this place when we first found out about it.
Went on a Saturday evening a couple hours before closing time. Nice atmosphere but a little dim on the lighting. Our server was Courtney and she was extremely friendly and very helpful in making the final food decision.
We ordered the Hog belly bites, Chorizo burger, Flaming hen and the H&H grilled cheese along with fries and the apple slaw for sides. No disappointments at all with the order.
The food was outstanding and in my opinion that is no joke. The flavors all blended very nicely. The hog bites were done perfect and all melted nicely in the mouth with the cranberries and special sauces. Highly recommend!
Price of the meal was very reasonable. The service was very good and attitudes were top notch.
We will be going back some time very soon and will definitely be getting the Brussel sprouts.
Compliments to the chef! Food was absolutely amazing , the picture don’t do it justice, juiciest burger I have ever had and the balsamic Brussel sprouts were amazing. Great service, cozy environment, friendly hostess and my waitress, Paige, was very informative and pleasant. I would definitely recommend to dine here.

My southwest wrap was delicious, and she raved about her grilled cheese. We both agree that the star of the meal was the apple slaw!

Elevated Comfort at The Hen and The Hog. I had their chorizo Burger, H&H Cheeseburger, as well as their pork belly and tomato soup with grilled cheese. The burgers were cooked to perfection, seasoned wonderfully, and packed with great flavors. The chorizo burger and H&H cheeseburger were definite highlights. The pork belly was slightly overdone for my taste and could have used a bit more seasoning, but it was still enjoyable.. I mean who doesn't like pork belly? The grilled cheese paired with the tomato soup was absolutely delightful and is a must try. While the establishment doesn't offer any beers on tap or cocktails, they do have an intriguing variety of canned/bottles available. I will for sure be back to try more of the menu to include the cannolis and breakfast food.
Our friends really love this restaurant and invited us for our first time. We were very impressed with the service. Despite how busy it got later on a Friday night, we were immediately greeted, seated and drink orders placed. It’s small but quaint and well worth a visit.
I ordered the cheeseburger and my wife got the chicken wrap. The pulled pork was also excellent. We really loved the sweet potato fries. Service was perfectly on point. Both our server and the manager checked in on us multiple times. Again, this was at full capacity.
Amazing food! We had a burger and the special of the day, two very different dishes. Both were fantastic. This chef makes great flavoring choices. For example, here I got melted gruyere cheese in what other places might serve as mushroom Swiss burger. The shrimp special was in a very unique sauce. It was very flavorful. We chose to eat outdoors and noticed several multigenerational families here, so truly they serve dishes for all ages and palates.
